Clipping Masks

The terms Clipping Path and Clipping Mask are used interchangeably and mean more or less the same thing. This is a shape (a vector) that serves as a mask and thus shows or hides other objects underneath. The outer line of this shape is called the clipping path.

Gradient Basics

With the Gradient Tool you create a color gradient between two or more colors. You can color in a straight line or in a circle. You can also make colors fade between individual dots.

Pen Tool

Perhaps the oldest vector drawing tool is the Pen Tool. With this you can draw lines, or more complex shapes. This Tool can be found in almost all graphical applications and good control of it is very useful.

Course portfolio

In this final assignment you’ll collect the exercises you have done throughout the course into one Indesign document. Consider this a presentation of your work.
