Photoshop’s interface offers a flexible layout of palettes, which can be docked, grouped, hidden or shown when needed. You can save these layouts as workspaces. These custom arrangements of tools and functions can be fine-tuned to improve the workflow of a specific task. Here’s how.

Type tool
This tool is used to create a frame that can hold text. To do so, simply click and drag anywhere on the image. To create point text, click without dragging.

Steps:
- Open Photoshop and create a new document size 800×600 pixels
- Select the type tool and click on the canvas
- Type your name
- Try and recreate the example interface layout
- Make a screenshot (how?)
- Upload this screenshot in JPG or PNG format to Dropbox
